Free-agent left-hander Alex Wood has agreed to a deal with the Oakland Athletics, MLB Network and FanSided reported Saturday night.
Financial terms of the contract were not reported.
Wood, 33, spent last season with the San Francisco Giants, going 5-5 with a 4.33 ERA across 29 appearances (12 starts).
In 11 major league seasons with the Atlanta Braves (2013-15), Los Angeles Dodgers (2015-18, 2020), Cincinnati Reds (2019) and Giants (2021-23), Wood has gone 76-65 with a 3.74 ERA in 269 career appearances, including 202 starts.
Wood was a National League All-Star with the Dodgers in 2017, when he went 16-3 with a 2.72 ERA.
