Free agent forward/guard DeWanna Bonner re-signed with the Connecticut Sun on a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Financial terms were not announced by the Sun, who signed two-time All-Star forward Brionna Jones to a one-year deal on Monday.
Bonner, 36, has spent the past four seasons with the Sun. The five-time All-Star averaged a team-high 17.4 points to go along with 5.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 40 games (all starts) last season.
“We’re excited to have DB return to the Sun,” Sun coach Stephanie White said. “She’s a Hall of Fame player whose legacy extends beyond the court. She’s a cornerstone of everything we do, and we are grateful to have her back.”
A two-time WNBA champion (2009, 2014) with Phoenix and three-time Sixth Woman of the Year, Bonner has contributed 14.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 462 career games (360 starts) with the Mercury (2009-19) and Sun.
