FC Cincinnati loaned homegrown forward Arquimedes “Quimi” Ordonez to Sweden’s Ostersunds FK.
The deal announced Thursday runs through December 2024 and includes a purchase option.
Ordonez, 20, was born in Cincinnati and competes internationally for Guatemala.
He made his MLS debut in 2021 and has appeared in 20 regular-season matches (four starts) for FCC.
Ordonez has also scored 13 goals in 24 matches with the MLS NEXT Pro side FC Cincinnati 2.
