Guard/forward Dre Davis, whose breakout year helped Seton Hall win the NIT, is entering the transfer portal and signing with an agency, ESPN and NJ.com reported Tuesday.
Davis has one year of eligibility remaining after spending two seasons at Louisville and two season at Seton Hall.
Davis averaged 15.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per game over 37 games (36 starts) in 2023-24 for the Pirates.
He put up 16.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.6 blocks across five NIT games and made the game-winning shot in the closing seconds of the championship game, pushing Seton Hall to a 79-77 win over Indiana State.
Over 110 games (77 starts) between Louisville and Seton Hall, Davis has averaged 10.4 points and 4.1 boards per game. He shot 49.8 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from 3-point range in his two seasons in New Jersey.
