Baylor freshman guard Ja’Kobe Walter announced Monday he is declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft.
“I think I’m the best shooter in the draft,” he told Stadium.
Walter, 19, was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and a third-team All-Big 12 selection in 2023-24.
He averaged 14.5 points and 4.4 rebounds and shot 34.1 percent from 3-point range in 35 games (all starts).
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is ranked No. 12 among ESPN’s top 100 prospects for the June 26-27 NBA Draft.
