Toronto FC acquired midfielder Derrick Etienne Jr. from Atlanta United on Wednesday.
Atlanta United will receive $200,000 in 2025 general allocation money and up to an additional $175,000 in GAM if certain performance totals are reached.
Etienne, 27, has yet to dent the scoresheet in two matches this season. The Haitian international has totaled 17 goals and 19 assists in 171 career matches (89 starts) with the New York Red Bulls (2016-19), FC Cincinnati (2019), Columbus Crew (2020-22) and Atlanta United.
Etienne was part of the Crew’s MLS Cup-winning team in 2020.
