Coming off his best season, power forward Obi Toppin is set to sign a four-year, $60 million deal to remain with the Indiana Pacers, per an ESPN report on Sunday.
Toppin, 26, averaged a career-high 10.3 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting a career-best 57.3 percent from the field this season, his first with Indiana. Averaging 21.1 minutes off the bench, he also set a career high in 3-point shooting percentage at 40.3.
Toppin was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 draft by the New York Knicks, who dealt him to the Pacers last summer for a pair of second-round picks.
In four seasons with the Knicks (2020-23) and Pacers, Toppin has averaged 7.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 283 games (43 starts).
