Quarterback Faizon Brandon, the top overall prospect in the Class of 2026, will announce on Saturday afternoon where he’ll be playing college football.
Ranked No. 1 in his class by 247Sports, Brandon is reportedly choosing between Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and N.C. State.
His commitment will be revealed live on 247Sports’ YouTube channel at 3 p.m. ET Saturday.
“I’ve been to all the schools I’m really interested in enough times to where I know where I want to go,” Brandon told 247Sports. “I think I’m going to be pretty excited (Saturday). Might be a little nervous, but mostly excited.”
The 6-foot-4 quarterback is coming off his sophomore season at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, N.C., where he led his team to a 13-1 record on the strength of a 69% completion rate. He passed for 3,026 yards with 36 touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed for 528 yards and nine scores.
