The New York Giants signed Jakob Johnson to a contract on Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed for the versatile veteran, who plays both as a tight end and a fullback.
Johnson, 29, appeared in 13 games (five starts) last season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Johnson has totaled 19 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown in 67 career games (34 starts) with the New England Patriots (2019-21) and Raiders (2022-23).
Also on Friday, the Giants waived/injured tight end Tyree Jackson.
