Houston Astros rookie right-hander Spencer Arrighetti has not allowed a hit through seven innings against the host Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday.

Arrighetti, making his 24th career start, has struck out nine and walked four. He has thrown 53 of 86 pitches for strikes as he chases Houston’s second no-hitter of the season. Ronel Blanco blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 10-0 on April 1.
Arrighetti, 24, entered the contest with a 6-11 record and 4.94 ERA.
The Astros have had 17 no-hitters in their history, including their combined no-hitter against the Phillies in Game 4 of the 2022 World Series.
