Texas added another five-star player to its 2025 recruiting haul on Friday, landing a commitment from coveted wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.
Ffrench, a one-time Alabama commit, chose coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns over suitors that included Ohio State, Tennessee, Miami and LSU.
“Oh yeah, it’s 110 percent done,” Ffrench told 247Sports about the long recruiting process. “Texas all the way. No more visits. Only visits are to Texas.”
The Mandarin High School (Jacksonville, Fla.) receiver is ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 4 player at his position and the No. 19 in the nation overall. With Ffrench, the Longhorns class now has three five-star prospects as he joins Texans Jonah Williams (No. 1 safety) and Kaliq Lockett (No. 2 wide receiver).
The Texas class moved to No. 7 overall in the nation.
