Inter Miami CF signed homegrown midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi to a contract extension through 2027.
The deal announced on Monday includes an option in 2028 for the 19-year-old American.
“Benja is a great homegrown success story for our development pathway, and we are thrilled to further our mutual commitment in the years to come,” sporting director Chris Henderson said. “His future is extremely bright and we’re looking forward to his continued contributions to Inter Miami CF.”
Cremaschi has three goals and three assists in 17 matches (nine starts) in 2024 for the Supporters’ Shield leaders.
He made his Herons debut in 2023 and recorded two goals and four assists in 28 MLS matches (21 starts).
“It feels good to sign this contract, knowing I’ll be staying at Inter Miami, it’s a huge accomplishment,” Cremaschi said. “… I’m just happy to continue to represent this city.”
Cremaschi already has made one appearance with the United States men’s national team and played for the United States at the Paris Olympics.
