The Carolina Panthers are waiving linebacker and current sack leader Eku Leota, NFL Network reported Tuesday.
Leota, 25, is in his second season with the Panthers after going undrafted out of Auburn in 2023.
Leota has appeared in 10 career games (one start) and contributed eight tackles (three for loss) and two QB hits.
He recorded his first career sack in Carolina’s 47-10 season-opening loss at New Orleans, the only full sack for the Panthers (0-2) through two games.
