The New York Jets entered the season with sky-high expectations and six nationally televised prime-time games.
Amid a disastrous 3-6 start, the Jets have appeared in prime time five times and were flexed out of their sixth such game by the NFL Monday.
The NFL announced that the Indianapolis Colts’ visit to the New York Jets on Nov. 17 (Week 11) was flexed out of the “Sunday Night Football” slot in favor of the Cincinnati Bengals’ game at the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers (5-3) and Bengals (4-5) are both in better positions in the AFC playoff hunt than the Jets, whose game against the Colts will move to a 1 p.m. ET start.
