Pascal Siakam scored 23 points and Bennedict Mathurin added 21 points and 12 rebounds for Indiana, which led by as many as 16 in the third quarter before Miami tied the game at 97 on Duncan Robinson’s 3-pointer with 5:37 remaining.

Tyrese Haliburton answered with consecutive 3-pointers for the Pacers and finished with 16 points and 13 assists. Indiana moved ahead 108-101 on Turner’s trey with 2:58 left.

Indiana scored the first eight points of the game and held a 28-20 advantage after holding Miami to 7-of-22 (31.8 percent) shooting in the first quarter.

The Pacers led by 10 points with 2:50 left in the second quarter before Miami closed on a 7-0 run to pull within 52-49 at halftime.

Siakam had 14 points in the first half for Indiana, which held Miami to 38.3 percent shooting before halftime.
