The Toronto Raptors scored the game’s final six points to pull out a 104-101 win over the visiting Golden State Warriors on Monday, ending a five-game losing streak.
Golden State led by nine in the fourth quarter before Toronto rallied to tie the score. Kyle Anderson’s 3-pointer put Golden State up 101-98 with 2:34 to go, but Chris Boucher’s second-chance basket on the next possession sliced the Raptors’ deficit to one.
Ochai Agbaji scored the go-ahead hoop with 1:33 to go, and Agbaji dunked with 39.8 seconds left to put Toronto up by three.
Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins and Buddy Hield both missed 3-point attempts in the final seconds.
Scottie Barnes had 23 points and eight rebounds for Toronto, which had won just one of its previous 17 games.
Boucher scored 17 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, and teammate RJ Barrett added 15 points. Jakob Poeltl had 13 points and 13 rebounds and Ochai Agbaji, and Gradey Dick each scored 12 points.
Stephen Curry scored 26 points for the Warriors, who have lost four of their past five contests. Wiggins logged 20 points, and Anderson scored 13 points. Dennis Schroder put up 12 points, and Kevon Looney had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Curry’s 35-foot 3-pointer gave the Warriors a 50-48 lead with 1:48 left in the second quarter, but the Raptors led 52-50 at halftime.
Golden State opened the third quarter with a 10-3 burst. Barrett completed a three-point play to cut the gap to two with 3:38 to play in the period, and Golden State was up 78-75 after three quarters.
The Warriors scored the first five points of the fourth quarter, and they subsequently took a nine-point lead on a 3-pointer by Lindy Waters III with 9:27 left.
Boucher answered with back-to-back 3-pointers as part of an 8-0 run.
The teams traded leads before the game was tied at 93 with 4:39 left. Curry hit a 3-pointer with 4:22 remaining, but Boucher tied the game again by hitting a trey with 3:03 left.
Toronto’s Immanuel Quickley (hip) did not play.
Golden State’s Draymond Green (disc and illness) and Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) were out.
