Nashville SC acquired goalkeeper Brian Schwake from Spanish side CD Castellon on Thursday.
The 23-year-old American signed with the MLS club through 2026 with an option for 2027.
Schwake posted 24 clean sheets in 92 matches with Castellon (2023-25) and several Scottish clubs (2020-23).
“Brian is an athletic goalkeeper who has already had some outstanding and unique experiences abroad for someone his age,” general manager Mike Jacobs said. “He has the potential to be a key contributor to our group.”
Nashville will begin the 2025 MLS regular season on Feb. 22 against the New England Revolution.
