The Charlotte Hornets signed forward Moussa Diabate to a standard three-year deal.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the Hornets in their Sunday announcement. Diabate had been playing on a two-way contract. He was set to become a restricted free agent after the 2025-26 season.
Diabate, 23, is averaging career highs in points (4.7), rebounds (7.0) and minutes (18.7) in 43 games (six starts) this season, his first in Charlotte.
Diabate was selected in the second round of the 2022 draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, who declined to give him a qualifying offer over the summer. The Hornets signed him to a two-way deal on July 31.
