Nick Dunlap signed a one-match contract with TGL on Friday to fill in for short-handed Atlanta Drive GC.
The reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year will compete against Jupiter Links on Tuesday.
Atlanta’s Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay are both unavailable next week. Dunlap, 21, will join Lucas Glover and Billy Horschel at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
“The excitement around the league has been awesome to follow, from the fan support to the feedback out on tour,” Dunlap said in a statement. “The energy in the SoFi Center is incredible, and I am excited for the opportunity to tee it up alongside Billy and Lucas.”
At The American Express in January 2024, Dunlap became the first amateur since Phil Mickelson in 1991 to win a PGA Tour event.
Dunlap later turned pro out of the University of Alabama and won again at the Barracuda Championship in July, making him the first player ever to win on tour as an amateur and a pro in the same year.
Tony Finau signed a one-match contract last week to serve as an alternate player for the LA Golf Club.
