The Los Angeles Rams will bring back backup running back Ronnie Rivers, with multiple outlets reporting Sunday the deal is for one year.
No financial terms were reported.
Rivers, 26, ran for 99 yards on 22 carries as the third-string running back behind starter Kyren Williams and backup Blake Corum. He also participated on 56 percent of the Rams’ special teams snaps last season.
In three NFL seasons, all with the Rams, Rivers has rushed for 249 yards on 63 carries since he went undrafted out of Fresno State.
