The short-handed Grizzlies (43-26) played without Ja Morant (left hamstring soreness), Santi Aldama (calf), and Scotty Pippen Jr. (sore left wrist).

Memphis was unable to slow down the Kings, who shot 52.3 percent from the field and 20 of 41 (48.8 percent) from 3-point range.

Sacramento set the tone early and led 37-26 at the end of the first period after closing on a 16-4 run.

The Kings carried the momentum into the second quarter and stretched their lead to 59-44 after Murray converted a three-point play with 2:26 left in the half.

Sacramento center Domantas Sabonis headed straight to the locker room after injuring his right ankle early in the third quarter. He did not return.

Bane hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 75-71 with 8:39 left in the third quarter before Sacramento quickly regained a double-digit lead.

The Kings led 98-86 at the end of the third period and extended their lead to 114-94 on LaRavia’s 3-pointer with 7:51 left in the game.
