The Chicago White Sox placed catcher Korey Lee and outfielder Mike Tauchman on the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Lee, 26, was helped off the field after rolling his left ankle in the sixth inning of Wednesday’s 3-2 loss at Cleveland.
Lee is batting .333 with two doubles and one RBI in nine games this season, his third with the White Sox.
Tauchman, 34, strained his right hamstring trying to score the game-tying run in the ninth inning of Wednesday’s loss to the Guardians.
Tauchman is batting .400 (4-for-10) with one run scored in three games in his first season with the White Sox.
In corresponding moves, Chicago called up catcher Omar Narvaez from Double-A Birmingham and outfielder Joshua Palacios from Triple-A Charlotte.
The White Sox also released right-hander Juan Carela, who underwent Tommy John surgery in March.
