Michael Busch hit a grand slam and Pete Crow-Armstrong launched two solo home runs on Friday, helping guide the visiting Chicago Cubs to a 10-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.

Ben Brown (3-2) allowed just four hits across six scoreless innings for Chicago, striking out four and walking none. Kyle Tucker, Carson Kelly, Nico Hoerner and Crow-Armstrong each tallied two hits for the Cubs, who won their third game in four tries.

Chris Flexen threw three innings of one-hit ball to finish the shutout, picking up his first save since 2022 and the third of his career.

Tyler Alexander (1-3) served as the opener for the Brewers, surrendering two runs on three hits in two-thirds of an inning before being pulled for Quinn Priester, who allowed seven runs in 4 1/3 innings. Priester gave up six hits while striking out four and walking four.

Milwaukee was shut out for the second straight game, following an 8-0 setback to the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.

After Kelly and Hoerner each drove in a first-inning run to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead, Chicago exploded for seven runs in the second off Priester.

Dansby Swanson’s single and consecutive walks to Nicky Lopez and Ian Happ began the frame, and Tucker and Seiya Suzuki followed with RBI singles. Priester then retired Kelly, but Busch launched his sixth home run of the year, a grand slam to push the Cubs’ lead to 8-0.

Two batters later, Crow-Armstrong connected on a 418-foot solo homer to give Chicago a nine-run advantage.

Tobias Myers replaced Priester in the sixth, working a perfect frame in relief. Joel Payamps then entered in the seventh, giving up Crow-Armstrong’s second solo home run of the night as the Cubs grabbed a 10-0 edge.

Flexen relieved Brown after six innings. He worked around a pair of walks in the seventh before recording strikeouts of Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich to end the eighth. Flexen worked a clean ninth inning to secure the dominant victory.
