More than 10,000 professionals in the sports gaming industry will congregate in Ft. Lauderdale for next week’s SBC Summit Americas.
The annual spring event moves from the Meadowlands Exhibition Center, where the ABC Summit North America had been held for the past several years, to the Broward County Convention Center. Among the biggest events for industry professionals, it serves as a mid-year touch point for senior executives and decision makers to dive into opportunities and challenges shaping the North and Latin American markets.
The new location is aimed to better serve the North and South America businesses, with every Latin American country expected to be represented other than Venezuela and Bolivia. SBC also said it expects a smaller amount of attendees to make the trip from countries throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.
The three-day event from March 13-15 will include 250 industry experts across five conference stages along with access to acquisition prospects and key industry stakeholders, as well as a significant representation from the Tribal Symposium. SBC Summit Americas also features the largest trade show floor dedicated to the Americas, with hundreds of leading regional and global brands.
Known for its immense networking access in and around the event, this year SBC Summit Americas will also include two industry-focused side summits. the Affiliate Leaders Summit and the Payment Expert Summit will each have a dedicated show floor and tailored conference track.
Among the focuses of the attendees and exhibitors will be leadership, payments and affiliate challenges in the gaming markets.
“Our previous America-focused events — SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamerica — really helped us understand the market’s unique dynamics and the issues that matter most to delegates, laying a strong foundation for what’s ahead,” said SBC CEO & Founder RAsmus Sojmark.
“With the addition of dedicated Affiliate and Payment Summits, a larger show floor, and an expanded conference agenda, there’s truly something for everyone, whatever your focus.”
Florida Gaming Control Commission Vice Chair Julie Brown is among the key industry figures who will speak at the event. Others include executives from BetMGM, DraftKings and Fanatics Betting & Gaming.
The event will also offer numerous networking events. It begins with the opening party at The Wharf on Tuesday, followed by the SBC Americas Awards on Wednesday, and the event concludes with a Thursday night party headlined by global EDM star Steve Aoki at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
