Rookie right-hander Logan Henderson tossed five scoreless innings to win his third straight career start as the Milwaukee Brewers rang up a 5-2 victory over visiting Baltimore on Tuesday night, the Orioles’ eighth consecutive loss.

Henderson (3-0) allowed two hits, striking out seven and walking two in a 90-pitch outing to become the first pitcher in franchise history to win his first three major league outings.

Brice Turang and Sal Frelick homered to put Milwaukee up 3-0 after four innings.

The Orioles pulled within 3-2 in the seventh. Ryan Mountcastle and Cedric Mullins singled to open the inning and Mountcastle advanced to third on a double play. Joel Payamps relieved Tyler Alexander and Ramon Urias delivered an RBI single. Jackson Holliday followed with a triple to left, plating Urias.

Milwaukee answered with two runs in the eighth. Rhys Hoskins opened with his sixth homer. Frelick drew a one-out walk, stole second, advanced on a two-out infield single and continued home on a throwing error to make it 5-2.

Abner Uribe struck out the side in the ninth for his first save of the season.

The Orioles remained winless in four games under interim manager Tony Mansolino, who took over after Brandon Hyde was fired Saturday.

Turang staked the Brewers to a 1-0 lead with one out in third with his fourth home run, a 409-foot shot to center off Chayce McDermott (0-1), who relieved after a perfect first inning from opener Keegan Akin.

Frelick put the Brewers up 3-0 with a two-run homer in the fourth. Hoskins reached on a blooper to shallow right, misplayed into a double. With one out, Frelick lined a 1-0 pitch to right for his third home run.

McDermott, called up earlier Tuesday from Triple-A Norfolk, allowed three runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings, striking out two and walking five.

Orioles right fielder Ramon Laureano, who appeared to stumble on Hopkins’ double, left the game in the fifth inning with left ankle discomfort.
