Seattle Mariners prospect Cole Young was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma to make his major-league debut on Saturday against the visiting Minnesota Twins.

Young will man second base and bat eighth in the lineup on Saturday night. He currently is the third-ranked Mariners prospect by MLB Pipeline.

At 21 years and 306 days, Young is set to become the youngest Mariners player to make their major-league debut since Julio Rodríguez made his Major League debut on April 8, 2022 — also against the Twins.

Also on Saturday, the Mariners reinstated right-hander Bryce Miller from the 15-day injured list among a number of moves. Miller was placed on the IL with right elbow inflammation on May 14, retroactive to May 12.

Young is batting .277 with five homers and 26 RBIs in 53 games with Tacoma.

Miller, 26, was placed on the 15-day Injured List with right elbow inflammation on May 14 (retroactive to May 12).

He is 2-4 with a 5.22 ERA and 21 walks and 35 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings over eight starts this season.

Miller owns a 22-19 record with a 3.71 ERA in 64 career starts with the Mariners.

The Mariners optioned infielder Leo Rivas and right-hander Casey Legumina to the Rainiers and designated righty Will Klein for assignment.

Rivas, 27, batted .283 with four RBIs in 30 games with the Mariners.

Legumina, 27, is 4-3 with a 4.58 ERA in 20 appearances (one start) with Seattle this season.

Klein, 25, posted a 2-0 record with a 7.17 ERA in 22 appearances with Tacoma.
