Luis Perez completed 26 of 32 passes for 283 yards and scored a rushing touchdown to pace the Arlington Renegades to a 23-6 victory over the host San Antonio Brahmas on Sunday in a season finale for both teams.

The Brahmas (1-9) opened the scoring with Tristan Vizcaino’s 30-yard field goal, but the Renegades (5-5) responded with 20 straight points to seize a 20-3 halftime lead. Dae Dae Hunter rushed for a 9-yard score, Perez raced for a 7-yard touchdown and Lucas Havrisik booted field goals of 32 and 35 yards.

Sal Cannella caught five passes for 86 yards and Isaiah Winstead snagged five passes for 53 yards to pace Arlington, which closed the year on a two-game winning streak. Former NFL quarterback Kellen Mond hit 17 of 27 passes for 150 yards for the Brahmas, who dropped their last six games to finish with the worst record in the eight-team UFL.
