Michael Toglia hit his third home run in two games, German Marquez pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings and the visiting Colorado Rockies sent the Washington Nationals to their 11th consecutive loss, 3-1 on Wednesday night.

Jordan Beck had two hits including a homer for the Rockies, who have won four straight for the first time this season.

Marquez (3-8) allowed six hits, struck out two and walked two. Seth Halvorsen pitched the ninth for his fifth save.

Brady House had two hits for the second straight night for Washington, which went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

Mitchell Parker (4-8) took the loss despite allowing one run on six hits over six innings. He struck out eight and walked none.

Jacob Young singled leading off the third for Washington but was caught stealing. James Wood walked with one out and Luis Garcia, Jr. singled. Nathaniel Lowe singled to load the bases with Wood held at third, and House hit a line drive, but third baseman Orlando Arcia made a diving catch to end the inning.

Parker struck out six of seven batters from the fourth inning into the sixth, but with one out, Toglia homered to give the Rockies a 1-0 lead.

House and Josh Bell singled with two outs in the sixth to put runners on first and third and end Marquez’s night. Jake Brid came on to face Daylen Lile, who grounded out.

The Rockies added a run in the seventh. Rightfielder Lile dove for a sinking liner off the bat of Arcia and didn’t catch it, with Arcia racing to third with a triple. With one out, Ryan Ritter executed a suicide squeeze bunt to make it 2-0.

Colorado centerfielder Brenton Doyle robbed Keibert Ruiz of a double with a diving catch to start the bottom of the seventh, but CJ Abrams walked with two outs. With Abrams running on a 3-2 count, Wood doubled to the gap in right center and Abrams scored easily to make it 2-1.

Beck got the run back when he homered with two outs in the eighth.
