Julio Rodriguez drove in a pair of runs, including a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning, and the Seattle Mariners held on for a 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night in Minneapolis.

Donovan Solano also drove in two runs for Seattle, which won its third game in a row. Cal Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI but did not homer for the first time in five games.

Ryan Jeffers doubled and had two RBIs to lead Minnesota at the plate. Kody Clemens homered for the Twins, who lost for the 11th time in their past 12 games.

Mariners right-hander Andres Munoz (3-0) earned the win with one scoreless inning of relief. Twins right-hander Jhoan Duran (4-3) gave up one run on one hit in one inning.

Right-hander Matt Brash pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his first save of the season for the Mariners.

Rodriguez stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and one out in the ninth with the score even at 5-all. He hit a deep fly ball to the front of the warning track in right field for the go-ahead sacrifice fly.

The Mariners jumped to a 5-0 lead in the top of the third.

Rodriguez started the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right to drive in Ben Williamson. Raleigh followed in the next at-bat with a run-scoring single to make it 2-0.

The Mariners loaded the bases for Luke Raley, who was hit by a pitch to drive in another run. Solano capped the big inning with a two-run single to center.

The Twins got on the board in the bottom of the third when Clemens led off the inning with his eighth homer.

In the fourth, the Twins scored four more runs to even the score.

Trevor Larnach hit a leadoff double to right and scored on Brooks Lee’s single to left. Three batters later, Ty France grounded into a double play with the bases loaded and nobody out but Lee scored from third.

After Clemens drew a walk in the next at-bat, Jeffers erased the deficit with a two-run double to left.
