Aliyah Boston scored a career-high 31 points and the visiting Indiana Fever surged ahead in the third quarter for a 94-86 victory over the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night.

Boston scored 30 in a regulation game for the first time since entering the WNBA as the top overall pick in 2023. Boston made 13 of 18 shots from the field and surpassed her career high of 30 set in an overtime win over the Atlanta Dream last Sept. 8.

Boston also grabbed eight rebounds as the Fever (7-7) bounced back from their fourth-quarter collapse in an eight-point loss on Sunday to the Las Vegas Aces.

Kelsey Mitchell added a season-high 26 points and hit five of Indiana’s eight 3-pointers. Lexie Hull matched her season high with 15 points and added a season-high 11 rebounds as the Fever shot 50.7 percent despite a quiet night from Caitlin Clark.

In her fifth game back from a quad injury, Clark was held to six points though she finished with nine assists. Clark finished 3-of-13 shooting and missed all six of her 3-point tries.

Skylar Diggins scored 22 and Erica Wheeler added 14 of her 20 in the fourth but Seattle (9-6) was denied a fourth straight win and lost for the second time in eight games.

Nneka Ogwumike was held to 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field after scoring at least 25 in the previous three games. Gabby Williams chipped in 11 as the Storm shot 46.8 percent but also committed 17 turnovers.

After Indiana took a 45-39 lead by halftime, Hull’s 3 opened an 11-point cushion with 8:25 left. She hit another 3 with 4:49 left for a 63-53 lead after Seattle cut the lead to five.

Mitchell converted a 3-point play and a 3-pointer on consecutive possessions as Indiana scored eight straight en route to a 75-58 lead into the fourth.

Hull hit a layup to give Indiana a 19-point lead with 6:40 left, then Seattle made a small dent by getting within 88-77 on Wheeler’s 3 with 2:40 left.

Boston helped Indiana finish it off by hitting two more jumpers, including a 14-footer for a 92-79 lead with 89 seconds left.
