Trevor Larnach homered, singled, drove in three runs and scored twice for the Minnesota Twins in a 10-1 win against the visiting Seattle Mariners on Thursday, helping them earn a split of the four-game series in Minneapolis.

Brooks Lee and Matt Wallner also homered, Carlos Correa had two RBIs and Byron Buxton scored two runs in the leadoff spot for the Twins, who have won two in a row following a five-game skid.

Twins right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson (3-4) came in winless in his past six starts, but he earned the victory after allowing just two hits over five shutout innings. He struck out six and walked one.

Seattle starter Emerson Hancock (3-4) limited the Twins to two runs and three hits over five innings, striking out two and walking three, but the bullpen surrendered eight runs in the sixth.

The start of the game was delayed four hours and 22 minutes because of rain.

Buxton walked with one out in the fifth inning and took second on an errant pickoff attempt by Hancock. Larnach then belted a 2-1 changeup into the seats in right field for a 2-0 lead.

The sixth inning began with Lee blasting a home run off reliever Zach Pop for a 3-0 lead.

After back-to-back one-out walks, Buxton doubled in a run to make it 4-0. Another run came home on a throwing error before Willi Castro delivered an RBI double, followed by a two-run single from Correa and a two-run homer by Wallner to make it 10-0.

Seattle backup catcher Mitch Garver left in the same inning after taking a foul ball off his mask. He was replaced by designated hitter Cal Raleigh, costing the Mariners their DH for the remainder of the game.

Brock Stewart replaced Woods Richardson to start the sixth and gave up a leadoff single to J.P. Crawford before retiring the next three batters. Danny Coulombe and Justin Topa followed with shutout innings of relief for Minnesota before the Mariners strung together three straight two-out singles off Cole Sands in the ninth to end the shutout bid. Miles Mastrobuoni had the RBI for Seattle.
