Kyle Stowers hit a three-run double to cap a five-run eighth inning and the Miami Marlins extended the major league’s long active winning streak to seven with a 6-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix on Sunday.

Otto Lopez stretched his hitting streak to 10 games with a two-out, two-run single for a 3-2 lead in the eighth after Jalen Beeks (2-1) walked the bases loaded.

Augustin Ramirez was intentionally walked after the runners moved up on the throw to the plate before Stowers doubled to center to make it 6-2. Lopez is 17-for-41 with 15 RBIs during his hitting streak.

The Marlins completed their first 6-0 road trip in franchise history, beginning with a three-game sweep in San Francisco.

Ketel Marte homered for the second straight game and Eugenio Suarez had two hits and an RBI for the D-backs, who have lost four in a row.

The D-backs lost an eighth-inning lead for the second straight game.

Suarez singled in a run and another scored on a wild pitch when the D-backs closed to 6-4 in the eighth, but Ronny Henriquez pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his third save in five chances.

Lake Bachar (4-0) retired all six he faced for the win.

Eric Wagaman had two hits and an RBI and Ramirez tripled and scored for the Marlins.

Jake McCarthy had an RBI triple for the D-backs.

Benches cleared during Jesus Sanchez’s at-bat with two outs in the ninth after he and D-backs catcher Jose Herrera had words. No discipline was merited.

Arizona starter Eduardo Rodriguez gave up one run on four hits in 5 1/3 innings, leaving after reaching a season-high 108 pitches. He struck out six and walked three. He has a 1.98 ERA in five starts since returning from the injured list.

Miami starter Cal Quantrill gave three hits and two runs in five innings, with five strikeouts and one walk. He has not given up more than three runs in any of his last 10 starts.

Ramirez tripled and scored on Wagaman’s infield single for a 1-0 lead in the third inning. McCarthy’s triple tied it in the second, and Marte’s 17th homer made it 2-1 in the third.

Marte has five homers and 13 RBIs in his last nine games.
