Complexity Gaming has officially signed Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke and Valentin “poizon” Vasilev, two marquee additions that continue the team’s remarkable overhaul.
k0nfig was part of the former OpTic Gaming roster and will now serve as one of the main fraggers alongside Owen “oBo” Schlatter. poizon comes over from Windigo.

Because the two new additions competed in the first stage of the ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas, Complexity will be forced to skip the second stage. CEO Jason Lake tweeted that rather than play with a pair of stand-ins, the “focus is on giving the new lineup time to train for 2020.”
“To correct some errant reports: #COLCS is unable to attend ESL Pro League in L.A. next week as the league has ruled our 2 new players ineligible because they previously competed with other teams this season,” Lake wrote. “We look forward to ESL’s next season!”

After failing to reach the stage at the Katowice and Berlin majors this year, Lake vowed to pay “the world’s highest salaries” in an effort to “build a juggernaut.”
The reconstruction for the Dallas-based organization began with the release of Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland and the signing of Benjamin “blameF” Bremer in September. blameF came from Danish organization Heroic, where he was the in-game leader.
CG then canceled an ECS match last month after releasing Rory “dephh” Jackson and moving Shahzeeb “ShahZam” Khan to the inactive roster. poizon will take over for ShahZam as the team’s sniper.
The rest of CG’s roster consists of William “RUSH” Wierzba and coach Jamie “keita” Hall.
