Lin Chin-Tse tossed five innings of one-hit ball and knocked in three runs, and Taiwan won the 2025 Little League Baseball World Series with a 7-0 victory over the U.S. champions from Las Vegas, Nevada, in the championship game Sunday in South Williamsport, Pa.

Lin had the big hit of the Tung-Yuan LL team’s five-run fifth inning to give the team quite a bit of insurance. After three consecutive one-out walks to load the bases, he cleared them with a triple to left.

On the mound, Lin took a perfect game into the fifth inning and faced the minimum over his five innings of work, erasing a one-out single with a double play to end his outing. Chen Qi-Sheng pitched the sixth inning for Taiwan, working around a pair of hits with a double play and a flyout to end the game.

Luke D’Ambrosio allowed two runs on five hits over four innings with three strikeouts and four walks, and also had one of the Summerlin South LL squad’s three hits in the loss.

This is Taiwan’s 18th LLWS championship, but its first since 1996. The Tung-Yaun LL squad won its five games by a combined margin of 22-3.

Connecticut 4, Aruba 2

SJ Taxiltaridis knocked in two runs with a crucial double and scored twice as Connecticut defeated Aruba in the consolation game of the Little League World Series.

Logan Gryga laced a two-out single in the third to start Fairfield Little League’s rally. Luca Pellegrini followed with a single before Taxiltaridis doubled to left, scoring Gryga and Pellegrini. Taxiltaridis then raced home on a wild pitch to give the Metro Region a 3-0 lead.

Santa Cruz, Aruba cut it to 3-2 in the bottom of the third on a Cayden Fraser RBI triple and a Josiah Koolman groundout. Connecticut added an insurance run in the sixth when Taxiltaridis scored on a Jimmy Taxiltaridis groundout.

Three pitchers combined to strike out seven for Connecticut. Reliever Brian Palazzolo picked up the win while Tommy D’Amura closed it out with 3 1/3 innings of hitless relief. Caribbean starter Anthony Santos allowed five hits and three runs over 5 1/3 innings while striking out six.
