Kyle Connor scored 46 seconds into overtime to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night in St. Paul, Minn.

Gabriel Vilardi, Vladislav Namestnikov and Nino Niederreiter also scored for Winnipeg. Neal Pionk and Logan Stanley finished with two assists apiece.

Brock Faber notched a goal and an assist to lead Minnesota. Kirill Kaprizov and Marcus Johansson finished with one goal apiece.

Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 36 shots.

Wild netminder Filip Gustavsson allowed four goals on 22 shots.

Connor scored the winning goal on a wrist shot from just inside the right circle. Mark Scheifele dropped a pass to Connor, who quickly capitalized with the shot past Gustavsson’s stick side.

Winnipeg jumped to a 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals in a 22-second span in the first period.

Vilardi started the scoring when he scored off a rebound from the left side of the crease. Stanley fired a long shot from near the blue line that was knocked aside, but Vilardi was in the right place at the right time to punch in the loose puck.

Namestnikov deflected a shot from the opposite side of the crease to make it a two-goal lead.

The Wild got on the scoreboard on a goal by Kaprizov with 13:57 left in the second period.

An inadvertent trick-shot goal by Faber evened the score at 2-2 with 6:48 to go in the second period. Faber ripped a high shot that hit off the glass behind the net, ricocheted over the crossbar and deflected off the goaltender and into the net.

The Wild grabbed a 3-2 lead on the power play with 16:12 left in the third period. Johansson scored with Faber and Marco Rossi picking up assists on the play.

Winnipeg responded with a game-tying goal with 8:25 remaining. Niederreiter swept in a loose puck near the front of the crease to complete an odd-man rush.
