Dillon Brooks had 25 points and four of the Suns’ 14 3-pointers, Devin Booker had 24 points and the host Phoenix Suns extended their winning streak to three with a 111-102 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

Jordan Goodwin had his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds in his first start of the season, and Mark Williams added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns, who have won 10 of 12.

De’Aaron Fox had 26 points, Devin Vassell had 17 points and Julian Champagnie had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, who had a three-game winning streak broken.

The Spurs had not lost since Victor Wembanyama suffered a calf injury in a Nov. 14 loss to Golden State.

The Suns led by at least 18 points in each of their previous eight games, a franchise first in the play-by-play era (1997-98), but they did not create double-digit separation until late against the Spurs, who led by 11 late in the first half.

Booker had 11 points and Williams had 10 in a 37-point third quarter for an 86-80 lead. Collin Gillespie’s 3-pointer just over three minutes into the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 96-84. Gillespie had 15 points and six assists.

Brooks’ jumper made it 110-97 with 3:01 left, and the Spurs never were closer than eight.

The Suns shot 44.3% and made 14 of 38 threes. Phoenix has made 14 threes in each of the last three games and at least 10 threes in every game.

The Suns have won both meetings this season, handing the Spurs a 130-118 loss to stop their season-opening five-game winning streak.

San Antonio shot 41.6%, staying within range by making 17 more free throws and holding a 50-43 rebounding edge.

Guard Goodwin started in place of small forward Ryan Dunn, who suffered a sprained wrist in the 114-113 victory over Minnesota on Friday.

Goodwin had eight of the Suns’ first 29 points after he had five points and two steals in the final 49 seconds of the victory over the Timberwolves.

Luke Kornet, Champagnie and Jeremy Sochan penetrated the Suns’ defense with successive dunks when they took their largest lead of the game, 45-34. Vassell’s three kept the Spurs ahead 62-52 before the Suns ran off an 11-0 spurt.
