CINCINNATI — Ja’Marr Chase made NFL history and broke a seven-game touchdown drought to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a second straight blowout win, 37-14 over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Chase finished with seven catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns, giving him seven touchdowns for the season. In the process, Chase became the first receiver in NFL history with at least 80 catches, 1,000 yards and seven touchdown receptions in each of his first five seasons.

Cincinnati running back Chase Brown ran for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 22 carries while catching three passes on three targets for 40 yards.

Joe Burrow had another impressive day, completing 24 of 31 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns. Burrow now has 28 career 300-yard passing games, matching Andy Dalton for the most in Bengals history.

Samaje Perine added a 1-yard touchdown run for the Bengals (6-10), who won back-to-back games for the first time since opening the season 2-0. With Cincinnati up 37-7, Joe Flacco relieved Burrow in the fourth quarter for a second straight week.

Jacoby Brissett completed 21 of 37 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinals (3-13), who dropped their eighth straight game.

Arizona tight end Trey McBride finished with 10 catches for 76 yards and a touchdown. He now has 119 catches, the most by a tight end in a single season in NFL history, breaking the 116 of Zach Ertz in 2018. McBride also became the first tight end in NFL history with at least 110 catches in multiple seasons, and he broke his own franchise record of 111 catches set in 2024.

Chase ended his touchdown drought on Cincinnati’s first drive. He caught a pass at the Arizona 11 and shook off two tackles before fighting off a tackler and breaking the plane of the end zone to give the Bengals a 7-0 lead. The Bengals made it 13-0 two seconds into the second quarter on Perine’s touchdown (the PAT failed).

The Cardinals finally answered on their first drive of the second quarter, driving 70 yards in five plays. The drive was capped off by a 38-yard connection from Brissett to Michael Wilson down the left sideline. On the play, Wilson made Geno Stone and Barrett Carter miss tackles while safety Jordan Battle stopped and watched Wilson balance himself along the sideline, managing to stay inbounds all the way to the end zone.

Chase caught his second TD of the game, an 8-yard play, in the final minute of the first half to establish a 23-7 lead.

The game featured a wild moment when offensive lineman Cody Ford, on his 29th birthday, caught a pass on the near sideline and broke a tackle for a 21-yard gain late in the third quarter. The crowd erupted, and moments later, Brown ran in his second touchdown of the game to make it 37-7.
