Dillon Brooks scored 26 points, Collin Gillespie added 25 points while sinking five 3-pointers and the Phoenix Suns beat the host Washington Wizards 115-101 on Monday to extend their winning streak to four games.

Devin Booker produced 22 points, Royce O’Neale scored all 15 of his points on five treys and Jordan Goodwin contributed 14 points for the Suns, who at 19-13 are six games over .500 for the first time this season.

Rookie guard Tre Johnson had career highs of 24 points and five 3-pointers and CJ McCollum added 17 points for the Wizards, whose season-high two-game winning streak ended.

Washington center Alex Sarr, who logged 20 points, nine rebounds and six blocked shots in a 116-112 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, was limited two points, two rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes.

The Wizards trimmed a 15-point deficit to 92-88 three minutes into the fourth quarter before the Suns pulled away, creating space on 3-pointers by Brooks and Booker for a 102-93 lead.

The Suns had a 51-43 rebounding advantage and pulled down 20 offensive rebounds leading to 26 second-chance points, 23 the first half.

The Suns made their first push midway through the second quarter. Goodwin scored nine points and Brooks and Gillespie had seven apiece in the period as Phoenix took a 61-54 halftime lead.

Brooks picked up his 11th technical foul of the season in the second quarter for arguing a no-call on his driving basket. Players receive a one-game suspension after their 16th technical.

Johnson scored 18 first-half points on 7-of-8 shooting and made all four of his 3-point attempts, but the rest of the Wizards were 14 of 34 (41.2%) from the floor, including 4 of 14 (28.6%) from long distance. Bilal Coulibaly’s 3-pointer gave the Wizards their largest lead, 42-36, midway through the second quarter.

O’Neale sank a pair of treys and Brooks and Gillespie had one apiece when the Suns opened a 77-62 edge midway through the third quarter. Bub Carrington’s 3-pointer brought the Wizards within 87-79 after three quarters.

The Wizards were without Kyshawn George (hip), Corey Kispert (hamstring) and Khris Middleton (knee management).

Suns guard Grayson Allen (knee) missed his sixth straight game, and center Mark Williams served a one-game suspension for his part in a fight Saturday night.
