Reserve guard Jordan Goodwin had career highs of 26 points and eight 3-pointers, Devin Booker hit a 3-pointer with seven-tenths of a second remaining and the host Phoenix Suns avenged the worst loss in franchise history with a 108-105 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night.

Booker finished with 24 points and Dillon Brooks scored 14 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter for the Suns, who ended the game on a 14-5 run and overcame an 18-point second-quarter deficit to break an eight-game losing streak to the Thunder.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 25 points, Jalen Williams added 23 and Chet Holmgren had 18 and nine rebounds for the Thunder, who had a four-game winning streak broken.

Oklahoma City blew out the Suns 138-89 on Dec. 10 in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup but are 6-5 since. Booker did not play in that game.

Williams gave the Thunder a 100-94 lead with four minutes left. Brooks tied the game at 100-100 with 2:37 remaining, and after a Gilgeous-Alexander miss, Goodwin hit a 17-footer for a 102-100 lead with 1:46 left.

Brooks concluded an 11-1 run on a step-back 3-pointer for a 105-101 lead with 36.4 seconds remaining before Holmgren’s follow shot brought the Thunder within two with 26.3 seconds left.

Brooks turned the ball over on the next possession, and Williams tied it at 105-105 with 8.2 seconds remaining, setting up Booker’s game-winner from the top of the key.

The Suns dominated the boards with a 49-29 rebounding advantage and turned 12 offensive rebounds into 14 second-chance points.

Phoenix made 17 of 43 3-pointers and was 6-of-9 from outside the arc in the fourth quarter. Goodwin had three of his treys in the fourth.

In a game of runs, the Thunder used a 13-1 stretch capped by Kenrich Williams’ 3-pointer for a 49-31 lead with three minutes left in the first half. The Suns closed the half with an 11-0 spurt that included a Goodwin trey to close the halftime deficit to 49-42.

The Suns extended that run to 20-2 in the early third to tie it at 51.

The Thunder had won the first two games of the season series.

Suns guard Grayson Allen (knee) missed his ninth straight game. Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) missed his fourth straight game.
