Warren Foegele and Kevin Fiala each scored goals in the final five minutes of the second period, and the Los Angeles Kings finished off a 4-2 home victory Monday to end the Minnesota Wild’s six-game point streak.

Andrei Kuzmenko had a goal and an assist, Adrian Kempe had a goal and Darcy Kuemper made 33 saves against his former team as the Kings defeated the Wild for the second time in three days. Los Angeles earned a 5-4 home shootout win over Minnesota on Saturday.

The Kings pulled off the victory despite losing veteran Anze Kopitar with a lower-body injury in the first period and Joel Armia to an upper-body injury midway through the second.

Los Angeles won consecutive games for the second time since Nov. 17 while earning points in all three games against the Wild this season (2-0-1).

Ryan Hartman scored a goal, Jared Spurgeon had a goal with an assist and Filip Gustavsson had 29 saves for the Wild, who entered with a six-game points streak and earned points in 13 of the previous 14 games (10-1-3).

Minnesota went 1-for-6 on the power play and is now 3-1-2 over a seven-game road trip that ends Thursday at Seattle.

The Kings broke through to take a 1-0 lead at 15:34 of the second period when Foegele one-timed a pass from Brian Dumoulin and blasted a shot into the top left corner of the goal from near the blue line.

Fiala made it 2-0 a mere 2:18 later when he tipped in a pass from Andrei Kuzmenko from the edge of the crease at the left post.

Spurgeon cut the Wild’s deficit to 2-1 with a goal at 5:55 in the third period before the Kings restored the two-goal lead when Kuzmenko scored at 9:20 of the third when he moved across the crease and scored just inside the right post.

Hartman scored on the power play with 4:39 remaining to bring the Wild within a goal one more time before Kempe scored into an empty net for the Kings with 1:39 remaining.
