Marat Khusnutdinov netted four goals and an assist, Pavel Zacha also registered his first career hat trick and David Pastrnak tied a Boston franchise record with six assists, helping the Bruins roll past the visiting New York Rangers 10-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Khusnutdinov and Zacha became the first Bruins teammates with hat tricks in the same game since 1964.

Fraser Minten lit the lamp twice and added an assist, Charlie McAvoy had a goal and an assist, while Elias Lindholm Henri Jokiharju each added a pair of assists for Boston, which scored double-digit goals on just 34 shots and set its season-high scoring output in two periods.

Jeremy Swayman (27 saves) backstopped the Bruins in their second straight win and fourth in six games (4-1-1).

Mika Zibanejad and J.T. Miller scored for New York, which is 1-4-2 in its last seven. Jonathan Quick allowed six goals on 20 shots before Spencer Martin entered in relief and gave up four goals on 14 shots.

New York drew first blood just 1:24 in. After Swayman was unable to glove a Matthew Robertson point shot, Artemi Panarin picked up the puck and dished a one-time pass to Zibanejad in the right circle.

The hosts tied the game at 2:31, as Khusnutdinov sped through neutral ice with a Pastrnak touch pass and beat Quick.

Zacha flipped the score for Boston with his first of two first-period goals at the 7:16 mark, forcing a turnover and moving past his man to let a snapper go glove-side on Quick.

Quick appeared to keep the Bruins off the board during 1:12 of 5-on-3 time to end the period, but after the teams had exited the ice for intermission, a review determined that Zacha scored off a Lindholm rebound before a clearance with 32.9 seconds left in the period.

Minten extended the Bruins’ lead to 4-1 just 2:12 into the middle frame, ripping a one-time shot past Quick off a long Viktor Arvidsson backhand feed coming out of the corner.

Less than two minutes after Swayman stopped Vincent Trocheck’s penalty shot save, Khusnutdinov won a puck behind the net and buried Pastrnak’s pass back out front at 6:41.

Zacha finished his hat trick at 11:26, taking a Casey Mittelstadt dish for a high blocker-side wrister from the left circle.

After Miller’s in-tight finish for a power-play goal at 14:04 brought the Rangers one closer, McAvoy made it a 7-2 game when he slotted home Pastrnak’s back-door feed just 1:43 later.

Khusnutdinov’s hat trick goal came at 3:51 of the third, as he tipped in a Pastrnak shot from just inside the blue line. Pastrnak pulled up just above the end line and set up Minten at 11:26.

Khusnutdinov made another tip of aJokiharju shot with 1:29 left for Boston’s 10th goal.

Boston was short-handed as Morgan Geekie left the game after the first period to tend to a family matter and Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury in the second and did not return.
