A misdemeanor trespassing charge filed against Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison in Florida has been dropped.

Florida state attorney Susan Lopez terminated the prosecution on Tuesday, according to Hillsborough County court records.

Addison, 23, was arrested on Jan. 12 after allegedly failing to comply with police requests to leave the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Tampa.

“We are thrilled we were able to bring the truth to light quickly,” Addison’s attorney Brian Pakett said, per ESPN. “This poor young man’s name was being dragged through the mud over frivolous allegations and absolutely zero smoke or fire. He did nothing legally wrong and thankfully the state was diligent in realizing this as soon as they did.”

It was Addison’s third recent brush with the law. In 2024, he received 12 months of probation after Los Angeles police found him asleep at the wheel of his car on Interstate 105. In 2023, he was cited in Minnesota for driving 140 mph on a freeway and pleased guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge.

Addison caught 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games (12 starts) during his third season in 2025.

The 2023 first-round draft pick (23rd overall) has 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 TDs in 46 games (41 starts) in his career.
