Brock Boeser had a goal and an assist and the host Vancouver Canucks snapped an 11-game losing streak, rallying for a 4-3 win against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday.

Evander Kane, Drew O’Connor and Filip Hronek also scored for the Canucks, who were on an 0-9-2 skid. David Kampf and Jake DeBrusk each had two assists and Kevin Lankinen made 29 saves as Vancouver won at home for the first time since Dec. 6.

Out since Oct. 19, Canucks forward Teddy Blueger played 18:24 in his return from a lower-body injury.

Dylan Strome had two goals and an assist and Justin Sourdif had a goal and an assist for the Capitals, who have lost four straight. John Carlson had two assists and Logan Thompson made 21 saves.

Capitals forward Tom Wilson played 20:20 and had an assist in his return after missing eight games due to a lower-body injury.

Washington pulled Thompson with 4:01 remaining, and Strome knocked in a loose puck in front at 16:37 to make it 4-3.

Strome gave the Capitals a 1-0 lead at 8:25 of the first period. Carlson found Wilson at the far post and he passed across the crease to Strom for the tip-in during a 5-on-3 power play.

Sourdif increased the lead to 2-0 with a power-play goal at 9:43, tipping in his own rebound in front after a pass from Strome.

Boeser pulled the Canucks within 2-1 at 13:32. Kampf stole the puck from Rasmus Sandin below the goal line and passed to Boeser, who scored far side with a one-timer from the left circle.

Kane tied it 2-2 at 18:22 when his sharp-angle shot deflected in off Washington defenseman Matt Roy’s skate.

O’Connor gave the Canucks a 3-2 lead at 8:58, scoring on a one-timer from the bottom of the left circle off a behind-the-back pass from Kampf below the goal line.

Hronek made it 4-2 at 11:43 when he tipped in a pass from DeBrusk during a 2-on-1 rush.
