The Houston Dash signed two-time NWSL champion forward Makenzy Robbe for the 2026 season on Monday.

Robbe, 31, won titles with the Western New York Flash in 2016 and the North Carolina Courage in 2018.

She spent the past four seasons with the San Diego Wave, recording 10 goals and five assists in 82 matches.

“Makenzy brings a championship mentality to Houston and a competitive edge that will help raise our standards this season,” team president Angela Hucles Mangano said. “Makenzy has experience in winning environments, understands the demands of high-level competition and we believe her leadership will elevate our group as we look toward the 2026 season.”

Robbe’s trophy haul also includes three NWSL Shields (2017, 2018 and 2023) and the 2024 NWSL Challenge Cup.

“I’m excited to join the Houston Dash and be part of what this club is building,” Robbe said. “… I’ve seen firsthand the momentum the team created in 2025, and I’m eager to contribute in any way I can. This group has the potential to achieve something special, and I look forward to helping us raise the bar in the season ahead.”

The Dash open the 2026 NWSL season against Robbe’s former team in San Diego on March 14.
