Cam Schlittler allowed one hit over 5 1/3 innings and Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton each homered, fueling the visiting New York Yankees to a 3-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Friday.

Schlittler (1-0), who struck out eight and did not walk a batter, yielded only Heliot Ramos’ two-out double in the second inning before retiring the final 11 batters he faced.

Tim Hill fanned two batters in the seventh inning, former Giants closer Camilo Doval struck out the side in the eighth and David Bednar worked the ninth for his first save.

New York recorded a shutout in its first two games of the season for the first time in franchise history. The Yankees cruised to a 7-0 victory over the Giants on Wednesday in the season opener.

Judge belted a two-run homer in the sixth inning for his first hit of the season. The three-time American League MVP was 0-for-7 with five strikeouts prior to blast.

Stanton added a 414-foot solo shot two batters later for New York, which has limited San Francisco to a total of four hits in two games under new manager Tony Vitello.

Stanton recorded his second straight two-hit performance and Jose Caballero also had two of the Yankees’ eight hits on Friday. Caballero, however, was thrown out at home while running on a contact play in the seventh inning.

New York mustered just three hits through five scoreless innings before igniting its offense in the sixth.

Paul Goldschmidt doubled down the right field line to lead off the sixth inning before Judge successfully challenged a called strike to extend his at-bat. He made the Giants pay by depositing a 3-2 fastball from Robbie Ray (0-1) just inside the left field foul pole.

Ray retired the next batter before taking his leave. He permitted two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Jose Butto relieved Ray and promptly saw Stanton send a 2-1 slider over the wall in left field to stake the Yankees to a 3-0 lead.
