Overview

McDuffie was a three-year starter who finished his Huskies career with 94 tackles, three forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions in 28 career games.

He capped his Washington career as a 2021 All-Pac-12 first-team selection, finishing with 35 tackles, a sack and six pass break-ups. With teams rarely throwing in his direction, McDuffie did not record an interception in his third season.

McDuffie was named the Pac-12 Freshman Defensive Player of the Year in 2019 and a second-team all-conference pick in 2020.

He announced on Dec. 27 that he would forgo his final year of eligibility to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.

  • named the team’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player at the postseason awards banquet.

2020 SEASON

  • Named to the All-Pac-12 second team
  • also named to Pro Football Focus’ All-Pac-12 first team, and to the AP and Phil Steele second team
  • started every game of the 2020 season
  • finished Oregon State game with four tackles, as well as two punt returns for 56 yards (11 and 45 yards)
  • named the UW coaches’ Special Teams Player of the Week following the OSU win
  • one tackle in the win over Arizona
  • four tackles, half of a tackle for loss, and a game-icing interception in the victory over Utah
  • five tackles and a forced fumble vs. Stanford.

2019 SEASON

  • Played in all 13 games, starting the last 11 of them

  • started vs. Hawai’i, finishing the game with two tackles
  • had four tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a start at BYU
  • led his team with nine tackles in a start vs. USC
  • made five tackles as a starter at Stanford
  • also started in the win at Arizona, finishing with three tackles
  • five tackles in a start vs. Oregon
  • three tackles vs. Utah
  • made four stops in the win at Oregon State
  • two tackles at Colorado
  • in the Apple Cup win over WSU, had two tackles, an interception (returned for 29 yards) and a forced fumble
  • named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week following the WSU win
