The Chicago Cubs scratched Yu Darvish from his start Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers due to tightness in his right forearm.
Right-hander Tyler Chatwood will fill in for Darvish for the series finale at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs said Darvish is expected to make his next scheduled start on Saturday in Milwaukee.
Darvish, 33, is 5-6 with a 4.25 ERA in 27 starts this season.
Since the All-Star break, the four-time All-Star is 3-2 with a 2.93 ERA, 72 strikeouts and just three walks in 55 1/3 innings.
Chatwood, 29, entered Sunday with a 5-2 record and a 4.24 ERA in 32 games (four starts).
