Green Bay, Wis., is under a winter storm watch from 3 p.m. local time on Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday, and Lambeau Field could see a dumping of up to 10 inches of snow in advance of the Packers’ NFC divisional game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Game time is 6:40 p.m. ET on Sunday.
With the pending storm, the Packers put out a call Friday morning for 700 people to report to Lambeau Field early Sunday to shovel out the seats. Helpers, who must be at least 18, will be paid $12 an hour on site.
The forecast for Green Bay on Sunday calls for a high of 23 and a low of 20 degrees, but the wind chill will make the air feel much colder for players and fans.
The Packers are 9-1 all-time against the Seahawks at Lambeau Field, including 2-0 in the playoffs.
