The Chicago Huntsmen announced the signing of Jordon “General” General, becoming one of the last teams in the Call of Duty League to add a substitute to their roster.
General has competed in the Call of Duty scene since 2015, starring for Enigma6 organization owned by his family. The 21-year-old began to build his reputation with Infinite Warfare, and Enigma6 won CWL Las Vegas 2017, among several top-10 placings. General was also a 2017 CWL Pro League All-Star.
Enigma6 finished a disappointing 13-14th during the CWL Pro League 2019, but finished 5-8th during the Playoffs Play-In and went on to claim fourth place in the World Championships in August.
It’s unclear if General, who has a strong resume for a substitute, will have a larger role with the Huntsmen, who have also yet to name their coach ahead of next month’s start to the new franchise league.
The Huntsmen roster compiled by CEO Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez is considered one of the strongest in the CDL. It features Seth “Scump” Abner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper, Alex “Arcitys” Sanderson, Dylan “Envoy” Hannon and Peirce “Gunless” Hillman in the starting lineup.
