Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is joining the Las Vegas Raiders for the rest of the 2021 season.
Following multiple reports Sunday that Jackson was heading to Las Vegas, the 34-year-old made it official by posting an edited image of himself wearing a Raiders uniform to Instagram.

Jackson began the season with the Los Angeles Rams but did not have a sizeable role in their offense. After catching eight passes for 221 yards and a touchdown over the first seven games of the season, Jackson and the Rams agreed to search for a trade partner for him.
When one didn’t materialize, the Rams released Jackson.
Jackson has 620 catches for 10,877 yards and 57 touchdowns in 167 games (154 starts) with the Philadelphia Eagles (2008-13, 2019-20), Washington (2014-16), Tampa Bay (2017-18) and the Rams. The three-time Pro Bowl selection led the NFL in yards per catch in 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018.
Raiders In Need Of A Playmaker
The Raiders lost to the New York Giants on Sunday to fall to 5-3.
But Las Vegas has undergone a tumultuous season. Former coach Jon Gruden resigned after a trove of his old emails to other NFL personnel featuring racist, misogynistic and homophobic language leaked to the public.
Last week, second-year receiver Henry Ruggs III was arrested and arraigned on several felony charges stemming from a DUI crash that left a woman dead. The Raiders released Ruggs.
